We've obtained archive data that shows the original number of registered UK sales for all 928 models between 1978 and 1996 (thanks to the SMMT - Society of Motor Manufacturers & Tradrers). We've also got hold of the DVLA statistics for all 928's currently registered in the UK (on road and SORN). After a bit of data crunching it makes good reading!
* An fantastic 90% of all UK sold Porsche 928 S4 are still registered (820 of 908)
* Of all UK sold 928's, 52% are still with us
* A respectable 31% of all UK sold Porsche 928 (1978-1982) are still registered
* Manual transmission cars have fared best with 72% surviving (less than 15% or early autos surviving!)
